How to Adjust User Session Time-Out Settings in IIS Manager

If you'd like to change the time out value to prevent users from being signed out, you can modify this setting on the server in the Internet Information Services Manager.

Default time out value = 20 minutes.

You will need to be on the server that hosts FactoryWiz to make this change.


In the Windows search box, type in IIS and open Internet Information Services Manager.



Once you have IIS open, you will need to double click on Session State.



Scroll down to the bottom in the Session State section.  Here you will see a field under Cookie Settings called Time-out (in minutes).  In the screenshot below, the value is set to 20.   This is where you will want to set the amount of time that will elapse before a user is signed out.
