There is a password on the installer, this password is only available to those customers on maintenance. Please contact us for this password or: - Open the DNC client on the server
- Login as the admin
- On the left panel, click update to open the updates available, the password is in the lower left of this window.
Install the software with all default options given during the installation process.
Communicating with the server
If this is the first client you are connecting to the server, you need to make sure the folder C:\rym\factorywiz dnc server\shared is shared on the DNC server and is accessible by the Client PC. You will need your IT to assist with this. Make a note of the shared address.
Once the folder on the server is shared, on the client PC, open the DNC Client:
- On the Log In screen, click Configure.
- Click on Edit Location.
- Browse to the network location (UNC Path created by IT above) of the FactoryWiz DNC Server\SHARED folder and double-click on the SERVER.FWDNCSERVER file.
- Click Return.
- You must close FactoryWiz DNC Client for the new setting to take effect.
- Start FactoryWiz DNC Client and login with your username/password.
- Check the box to Save for automatic login.
