Adam 6051 Troubleshooting

Machine showing disconnected in FactoryWiz

When you have a machine showing as disconnected in FactoryWiz.  For IT technical staff only.

1. Verify the FactoryWiz machine settings are correct:
   
1. IP is good
   
2. Machine type is ADAM
   
3. You have a license / correct license allocation
   
4. The service RYM ADAM is running
   
2. Check the ping of the IP address:
   
1. If fail:
   
1. Check ADAM is powered on
   
2. Check cable is good to the ADAM (check RJ45 is ok)
   
3. Connect a laptop to the cable to test
   
4. Replace cable
   
2. If pass:
   
1. Use the ADAM Apax utility to connect to the ADAM.
   
1. If you cannot connect to the ADAM check the IP address is for this device and not a duplicate.
   
2. If you can connect to this device using the ADAM Apax utility and the machine is still showing as offline, please contact us.
