Managing Machine-Specific Idle Reasons in FactoryWiz

8.7.13 Machine Specific Idle Reasons

Gear Button>Machines>(Machine Name)>Machine Specific Idle Reasons

On the Machine Specific Idle Reasons page, you can view, edit, delete, and add to a list of idle reasons for a machine. An idle reason allows an operator to explain why a machine is reporting Idle Status. In the example above the reasons that this machine might be idle are "Break" and "Tool Change".  When a machine is idle the operator will use their tablet to select from the configured idle reasons. You may include as many idle reasons as you wish.

Add an Idle Reason for the machine

Click the Add Idle Reason button. The above dialog will appear. Type the name of the idle reason and then select which modes this idle reason will be valid for. Then click the Save button.

Remove an Idle Reason for the machine

Click the Delete button next on the right side of the idle reason. A window will appear confirming that you wish to delete the idle reason. Click OK and the idle reason will be deleted.

Edit Idle Reasons for the machine

Click the red pen button on the idle reason and the above window will appear. You can change the name of the idle reason and the modes the idle reason is available for. Once you are done making changes click the
circled checkbox button. If you made a mistake or want to discard changes click the crossed out circle button.
