FactoryWiz OperatorConnect Messages

8.10.4 OperatorConnect Messages

On the Operator Connect Messages page, you can view a list of current operator connect messages, add new, edit, and delete operator connect messages.  Operator Connect Messages are formatted messages to the machine operators from the Tablet Messages pane in the lower left corner.  For example, you may want to create a message that a quality assurance inspector could send to notify the operator to stop the machine because the parts it is producing are not passing quality assurance tests. In the example shown, a message that reads “Stop running your machine! Problem with part!” has already been added.

Click the Add Operator Connect Message button in the upper left corner.  A dialog box will be displayed allowing you to enter a new message.

Save, and the new message will appear in the list of operator connect messages.

Edit Operator Connect Message

Click the Edit button that is displayed to the right of each operator connect message in the list.  A dialog box will be displayed allowing you to edit the message.  Save, and the new edits will appear in the list of operator connect messages.

Delete Operator Connect Message

Click the Delete button that is displayed to the right of each operator connect message in the list.  Once you confirm the deletion, it will be removed from the list.
