Managing Quality Control with FactoryWiz: Rejecting Parts

7.3 Data Entry - Quality

The Quality tab of the Data Entry screen allows you to reject multiple parts historically.  You must filter parts by Date and Part ID.  Once a date has been selected, the Part Id will be populated with the Part IDs produced by the selected Machine on the selected day. Select a Part ID from the drop-down menu to display the cycles for that part number during the specified date.

Click on the Reject button to reject that cycle.  This will open a pop-up window where you can select the reason for rejecting this part from the drop-down menu.  To configure this list, see Part Scrap Reasons.

You can then select if you want to reject just this one part or if you want to select multiple parts. Enter the number of parts to reject and then select if it was the parts before or after this part you want to reject.

Once rejected, in the Reject Count column you will see the rejected parts.  To cancel a part as scrap, click the Cancel button and the rejected part(s) will no longer be rejected.
