FactoryWiz Comprehensive Guide on Report Parameters

4.2 Report Parameters

The middle of the screen, shown in Fig. 4-1, shows the report parameters.  These parameters will vary, depending on which report is selected.

 Start Date

Select the date of when the report will start reporting from.  It will select this date but the time of day the report will start on is set in Shift Configuration - Reporting Window.

Finish Date

Select the date when the report will report up to. It will automatically add 24 hours and the START OF DAY time into the end date. For example, if the 12th is selected, the actual reporting window will stop at April 13th at 6:00am (2019-04-13 06:00:00) because with START OF DAY set to 6:00, the day is 6:00am to 6:00am.

To report on just 1 day, the start and end date will be the same.

Job

Optional string input. You can input a partial string Job Number and the report will only return information on Job Numbers that contain the partial string. If no text is input, then this field is ignored.

Part ID

Optional string input. You can input a partial string Part ID and the report will only return information on Part ID’s that contain the partial string. If no text is input, then this field is ignored.

CNC

Dropdown list where you can select all machines or filter the report by just one machine.  (Do not filter by both CNC and Group together, you can only select one or the other or set both to All CNCs.)

Dropdown list where you can select all machines or filter a group of machines. See Machine Groups in the settings menu to configure groups.  (Do not filter by both CNC and Group together, you can only select one or the other or set both to All CNCs.)

Dropdown list of your configured shifts.  You can report on all shifts, or you can filter the report based on an individual shift.

Boolean dropdown list. If set to False, it will report on all hours of the day, even outside of normal shift times.  If set to True, it only reports on configured shift times. See Shift Configuration to configure shifts.

This parameter sets whether paused time is considered running time in OEE calculations.  If set to True, any paused (feed hold, etc.) time will be reported as running in OEE calculations.  If set to False, any paused times will be reported as non-running in OEE calculations.  FactoryWiz™ Monitoring recommends setting this parameter to False.

Boolean dropdown list. If True, FactoryWiz will not count running time towards OEE unless the machine is in production mode.  If False, any time the machine reports running status, it will be included in OEE calculation.  Even if the machine was being set up or maintained during those times.  When the machine is RUNNING in SETUP mode, time will be reported as running, which will increase the availability / uptime % score.  FactoryWiz™ Monitoring recommends setting this parameter to True.
