FactoryWiz Widget Options

2.1 Dashboard Widget Options

You must unlock a Dashboard before you can edit it.

The lock icon allows you to edit/lock your dashboard.  When in the locked position, the current dashboard is not able to be modified, and the dashboard widget options button will be greyed out so it can’t be selected.  When in the unlocked position, the dashboard widget options button becomes selectable, and the current dashboard will be in edit mode.  Edit mode allows users to modify the current dashboard.  When in edit mode, a gear icon will appear in the upper right corner of each widget.  Clicking the gear icon will allow you to edit or delete the widget.

The Dashboard Widgets Options button in the upper right corner of the dashboard allows users to create and modify their dashboards.  This feature is only available when the dashboard is unlocked for editing.

The widget options shown in the Dashboard Widget Options menu allow the user to create, edit, and manage your widgets.

To add a widget to your dashboard, click on the corresponding widget and it will automatically get added to your dashboard.  When a widget with configurable settings is added to the dashboard, a pop up will appear right away to allow you to configure the widget settings.

To edit a widget, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of each widget.  Select Edit from the options and this will pop up the settings for that widget.

To delete a widget from your dashboard, click the gear icon on the widget.  This will give the user the option to Delete the widget from their dashboard.  Confirm the deletion and the widget will be removed from the dashboard.
